I was about to sleep and when I opened the television, this was on GMA7. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was in President Corazon Aquino’s wake.

I really laud Noynoy Aquino for entertaining President Gloria Arroyo when she visited Pres Cory Aquino’s wake. President Arroyo went straight away to Manila Cathedral after arriving from New York to pay her respects to President Cory Aquino. She went to see Cory’s remains, sat a few minutes and talked a little to Noynoy. Sure there were awkward silences but at least she was accommodated by the family.

I hope that Cory’s death would spark a mass reconciliation of political enemies and would brought about unity. So as to provide us with leadership not only approved by the bigwigs but also of the entire Filipino people.

All of you are aware or have watched the Manny Villar TV ads that have been circulating since last year. From the OFW ads to the “laking tondo ads” to the new youth friendly ad.

Manny Villar has to be one of the strongest contenders to be our new president. Financially speaking he has one of the deepest pockets. Popularity wise he is one of the most popular. He has been speaker of the house and senate president. He has sponsored numerous bills and countless projects. I think his coming presidential campaign would be one of his most challenging hence his beautiful and insightful commercials.

His track record is impeccable. That’s why I cannot fathom the fact that he keeps on plastering his huge head on TV everyday. Mr Villar you are one of the most viable presidentiable that we have, so please stop the TV ads is getting old. Its obvious Manny that you are keen on being president so please end the TV ads.The Manny Villar fever is contagious heck its sickening.
